These bee cookies are the perfect set of cookies for any bee-themed celebration, including birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, wedding & a general party.  Check out the Bee Party online class here.

A small selection of the sets I’ve made are offered as online cookie decorating classes. For a full selection of all cookie sets I’ve made (both those that are classes and those that are detailed in full on the blog), click here.

The cutter used in this class is a 3.25″ hexagon (I like the one from Brighton Cutters).  (The workbook also provides alternative cutter options, including options from Amazon.)

What makes these Bee Cookies so special?

The idea behind this set is that it can be customized for the occasion: you can use one of the lettering options to customize the set for any specific type of party OR you can simply leave out the lettering design to still produce a beautiful & cohesive set of cookies! (The workbook includes instructions on how to still using the lettering design base with a different design on top that does not include lettering.)

Every cookie is made on a hexagon!! So much variety and detail achieved with just one shape and limited tools means less money and less time spent prepping!

The skill level is advanced beginner/intermediate as many of the designs push the intermediate (including the lettering).

The workbook includes to-scale images that you can print out with the custom-made hand lettering for each lettering option.

Lettering Options:

  • What Will Baby Bee? (baby shower/gender reveal) (bonus option included in the workbook)
  • Mama to Bee (baby shower)
  • Meant to Bee (bridal showed or wedding)
  • Bride to Bee (bridal shower)
  • Happy Bee-Day (birthday)

Royal icing skills covered in this class:

Free Resources for this Set

For every class set, I still produce my usual YouTube videos. One is a sped-up compilation of the full set (at a more reasonable pace than the fast video above) and the second is a tutorial. This tutorial video is *not* at all like the class video.

VIDEO COMING SOON

The free YouTube tutorial video (below) shows each cookie in real-time with a voiceover, however, it is much shorter than the class videos and does not include any additional resources (classes include a 60+ page workbook).

VIDEO COMING SOON

I deliver my class videos as if I was teaching a live class, so a 20 minute YouTube tutorial can easily be a 2 hour class video. Either way, I like to provide different levels of information with different levels of investment. Choose the path that best suits you!
