This set was designed with at-home beginner cookiers in mind, so it uses just 4 colors and just ONE consistency! AND you’ll create 12 designs with just 6 cookie cutters. Fewer colors, icing consistencies and cookie cutters means less time prepping and less money spent on supplies. Now that’s what I call a beginner class!

Love this set of cutters? Try out the advanced beginner version of this set! It’s the exact same set of cutters, with different designs, techniques and color palette. Check out the class here.

Easy Halloween Cutout Cookies

What makes these easy Halloween cutout cookies so special?

You might think you’re seeing double because this set looks awfully familiar to the Halloween Cuties class. And that’s because you kind of are! You see… both classes were made from the same set of cutters from Brighton Cutters.

BUT the key difference is that two sets are entirely different skill levels, techniques, colors, and consistencies. This class (Sweet Beginner Halloween) is at the beginner level, whereas Halloween Cuties is advanced beginner/intermediate.

Most of my beginner classes use just one shape, but I started getting more requests to use different shapes, so here we are! Sweet Beginner Halloween still uses my signature one consistency approach for beginners (hello, less time spent prepping!) and still saves you money with cutters (you make 12 designs with just 6 cutters!!).

Try tackling both classes! Beginners will enjoy the added challenge of Halloween Cuties, and more advanced cookiers have some go-to easy designs that you can make a lot of. You get to have ALL the fun but half the time and money spent 😉 Can’t wait to see what you make!!

Royal icing skills covered in this class:

  • One consistency outline and flood
  • Working with tipless bags
  • Piping and flooding with a thick flood
  • Different wet on wet technique applications
  • Flooding in sections
  • Crackle technique

You will learn how to decorate (from start to finish) TWELVE Easy Halloween Cutout Cookies

Free Resources for this Set

For every class set, I still produce my usual YouTube videos. One is a sped-up compilation of the full set (at a more reasonable pace than the fast video above) and the second is a tutorial. This tutorial video is *not* at all like the class video.

The free YouTube tutorial video (below) shows each cookie in real-time with a voiceover, however, it is much shorter than the class videos and does not include any additional resources (classes include a 60+ page workbook).

I deliver my class videos as if I was teaching a live class, so a 20 minute YouTube tutorial can easily be a 2 hour class video. Either way, I like to provide different levels of information with different levels of investment. Choose the path that best suits you!
