This class teaches you the classics: pumpkin, cherry and pecan. Can you believe that crust is done with tipless piping bags?! (The ONLY piping tip you need is for the whipped cream!)

This class is considered beginner OR advanced beginner because while the designs are simple, there is still a lot that can be learned from the techniques and execution! This set is all about the color palette, textures and getting that consistency just right for the application. I do also give modifications for most designs to make them a little easier if needed.

What makes these Pie Sugar Cookies so special?

I love pie… but let’s be real here: 99% of the pie out there is complete garbage. Yes, I said what I said! But you know what hits every time? Pie COOKIES.

These are the perfect addition to any family gathering this holiday season, but especially great for Thanksgiving (whether that’s in the US or Canada!). They’re adorable, can be made well in advance and are easy to store. What could be better?!

Whether you’re a total beginner or a more experienced cookier, this set shines with just 3 designs, a simple shape (either use a cookie cutter or hand cut them) and minimal colors. AND you learn how to make THREE different kinds of crusts all with a tipless bag!!

It’s a great set to tackle if you’re graduating from complete beginner and/or need to make a LOT of cookies for those hungry friends and family.

Royal icing skills covered in this class:

  • One consistency outline and flood
  • Working with tipless bags (and cutting tipless bags)
  • Working with sprinkles
  • 3 different ways to pipe pie crust with a tipless bag
  • How to cut a tipless bag for pie crust

Free Resources for this Set

For every class set, I still produce my usual YouTube videos. One is a sped-up compilation of the full set (at a more reasonable pace than the fast video above) and the second is a tutorial. This tutorial video is *not* at all like the class video.

The free YouTube tutorial video (this particular set does not have a public tutorial video on YouTube) shows each cookie in real-time with a voiceover, however, it is much shorter than the class videos and does not include any additional resources (classes include a 60+ page workbook).

I deliver my class videos as if I was teaching a live class, so a 20 minute YouTube tutorial can easily be a 2 hour class video. Either way, I like to provide different levels of information with different levels of investment. Choose the path that best suits you!
